As part of Financial Planning Week (24-30 May), Announcer's Certified Financial Planners will take part in an online question and answer service "Ask an Expert" developed by the Financial Planning Association (FPA).
Some of Announcer's financial planners, who are members of the FPA, will answer your questions on financial matters as wide-ranging as superannuation, savings and investments, managing tax and retirement planning.
Ask an Expert
Ask an Expert is designed to give you an introduction into the benefits of financial planning advice. The advice provided by email may be limited as it will not take into account all your personal circumstances and details.
While this service will help Australians to make more informed decisions about their financial matters, the FPA encourages Australians to seek the full services of a professional financial planner where appropriate.
Seeing a planner can make a huge difference to your financial future and can help you make financial decisions to give you peace of mind. Make sure you always seek advice from a professional financial planner who is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) as they are committed to the highest professional and ethical standards.
The financial planning process is quite comprehensive and rigorous. When a financial planner develops a financial plan for you, known as a Statement of Advice (SOA), a financial planner will follow a structured six step process to help understand your needs and recommend an appropriate strategy. We recommend you to read more on the six step financial planning process here.
You can also view the Q&A archive from past Ask an Expert programs and see some example questions that our financial planning experts can assist you with. To illustrate just how much value a financial planner can provide, we also encourage you to read a series of real life case studies.
